Activity 2.2: E-learning Strategy: A framework for success

Based on this article there are a number of things that need to be considered when trying to create and implement e-learning, which include:

- Goals and objectives that need to be accomplished

When considering this there are certain things that need to be considered such as things like: is there enough budget for this, technology infrastructure, buy or build courses.
  • “Review e-learning solutions from suppliers, partners, or competitors
  • attend free webinars from e-learning suppliers Attend free webinars from e-learning suppliers

Certain things need to be considered before implementing these points such as: learner and trainer readiness, cost, and infrastructure.

Communication

“There are two factors to consider when communicating your e-learning strategy to your learners : change management and marketing communications.”(De Varies, 2005, E-learning stratergy : A framework for success, Beijing). To consider communication there needs to be support staff, readiness of management, buy or build courses and venues or learning centers.
