Today, my group (LMS) is working on their own case studies. We are all focusing on the companies that are using LMS, and the problems faced in the companies and the possible solutions that they have implemented. At the moment i am focusing on an article that is found in this website- http://www.learningcircuits.org/2004/mar2004/york.htm.

This article is called Case Study: AmeriCredit Partners with Ninth House for LMS Succes, written by Jami York (Americredit case study, Learning Circuits, 2004). This article is based on the organisation implementing LMS for the purpose of coaching their staff and learning and development.

The company has found that training programs have been effective for both managers and their employees. The major problems faced by the compnay was the reduction in their economy, and that strong leadership needed to be in place to rectify this problem.

The company created a LMS program to “enable employee access to courses seamlessly and quickly” (York, J., Americredit case study, 2004).
